For clients whose needs include the ability to remotely verify alarm notifications provided by the Aegis p.c. system, GDI offers tailored video verification solutions which automatically place one or more video sources on a target when a perimeter intrusion alarm is generated.
Where video verification is called for within a particular client solution, GDI’s experienced system design staff carefully analyzes the topography of the facility and specifies camera type, placement, and programming in order to ensure complete video coverage with the least amount of infrastructure.
All GDI supplied video verification solutions are fully integrated into all other systems provided by GDI, including the Aegis p.c. system, our vehicular control solutions, and the GDI CommandCentre software application.
This capability allows GDI’s clients to take advantage of the Aegis p.c. system’s industry leading 200 millisecond time-to-detect (an intrusion event) and place multiple outdoor security cameras views onto an intrusion attempt in real-time, providing maximum security and the earliest possible dispatch of response forces.
GDI video verification solutions are able to provide an array of view options, including pan-tilt-zoom, long-range zoom, night vision (in total darkness), high contrast resolution, and through glass visibility.
